By crack of dawn, I’m butt in chair, writing for kids, mostly middle grade and YA novels, and, occasionally, creative non-fiction. By day, I’m a public school paraeducator, who delights in working with middle school and high school teens. I serve as Regional Advisor for the Western Washington chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. And, when I receive a stellar submission to Junk: A literary fix, an online magazine of short memoir, I don my editor hat and get to work, bringing true stories to light.
