Ah, okay. Maybe I am being too cynical, but this is an ad from Dove, right? Dove is part of the beauty industry, right? I have mixed feelings about this kind of posturing. I feel as if I am being double-duped or something.
Maybe the beauty industry needs a third-party guy like Al Gore or Michael Moore to take up the cause and make a documentary.
Awesome!!!!! There’s a great new collection of short stories for tweens and teens edited by Ann Angel called, “Such a Pretty Face: Short Stories about Beauty”. I think this could go along with that collection!
Too cool that you mentioned Such A Pretty Face. If only we could each look in the mirror and like what we see without the distortion!
